This Spaniel is more delicately built, diligent and thoughtful, with a soft heart.
I had enjoyed painting a pastel of these two fine Springers as youngsters, so it was a pleasure to be commissioned to study them again as full grown dogs.
These two brothers, RANDALL and MORGAN, could not be more different in character. One is bigger, bullish and charming – master of all he surveys.
You might easily think on first meeting that the larger of the two was the dominant dog, or even the better working dog ... but looks can be deceiving.
