Masks have recurred throughout my working life. This Pierrot mask was originally made early in Sioban's professional work, and then re-worked into this piece later.

PIERROT WITH SASH is an early experiment mixing normal 'lost wax' bronze casting with 'direct casting' of the sash, which combines a haunting and serene image with a sense of movement provided by the sash.
