SILVER SPOONS

The SILVER SPOONS are a foray into useful implements using the leaf motif, with four designs to date.

Cut from a sheet of Sterling silver, with the edges filed smooth, each spoon is "chased" with a 'lining tool' to make the vein of the leaf, and formed with wooden mallets into a leather sand-bag to create the spoon-ish curves.

You can move the silver into almost any shape by hammering the silver. This can be done from one or both sides, with hammers chosen for the shape of their heads.

Sioban has her own Hallmark registered with the Assay Office.
